Facial Massage & Skincare

Line White
Facial massage dates back to ancient times and its roots can be found in Ancient Egypt, and China.

It is said that Cleopatra would use Dead Sea mud on her skin twice a week to remove impurities from the skin, and that she also would apply egg whites on her face at night time, leaving it on overnight and rinsing off with water in the morning.

In ancient China, a prominent woman named Tang Gui Fei, who was considered to be very beautiful, would make her own face masks.

Her masks were said to help whiten the skin, help remove spots, and smooth out wrinkles.

White skin in Ancient China was believed to signify beauty, wealth and purity.

Massaging the skin increases the blood flow to the area, thereby delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the skin.

This also helps to drain toxins which can result in skin that looks dull, grey and lifeless.

The skin is stimulated and helps to produce more collagen.

Facial massage also helps to relieve tension in the muscles, thereby helping to relax tight jaws which can become clenched through stress, and eyes which are constantly looking at screens, especially small screens on mobile phones which cause us to squint.
